My friend and I have started a business called "Blissful Blends Bath and Body Products" but this is a mouthful and I am thinking now that it may be a bit corny. Plus many people have told me that Blissful Blends sounds like coffee (and it turns out it is a coffee shop in another state!)
So how did you all arive at the name for your business? Any suggestions?
Here are new names I was thinking of:
Honey Bee Apothecary
Lavender Lane
Strawberry Vine
Eucalyptus Tree Apothecary
Apothecary Nouveau
The Honey Bee
Abeille a Miel (honey bee in french)

Our labels look vintage and I want to keep that. And our color theme is greens. We use bees wax and cocoa butter in many of our products

THANKS in advance for opinions!

I'd steer clear of apothecary. While looking at names for my business, I tried apothecary in it and found that a very large percentage of people can not spell apothecary correctly.

I agree, Blissful Blends does sound like something to do with coffee.

There is already a Lavender Lane lavender farm, so I don't know if you'd want to go with that one.

Also, there's a big clothing company called The Honeybee, so it may be too close to The Honey Bee.

I kind of like Strawberry Vine.

I agree with Genny about using Apothecary in the name - to me it also means prescriptions filled, etc.

How about Cocoa Bee Bath & Body?

I am voting for the cocoa bee. I can just see a little brown happy bee buzzing over a green bar of soap... :D

As for my name... :P - it was given to me by my family shortly after I was born and then the Beatles made it popular for me, thank you Beatles! I am " SISTER SUSIE". But sadly I do not have a brother John...

I LOVE the Cocoa Bee name! Very catchy. We are just starting out as well and named our company "Three Palms Soapworks" simply because we have 3 palm trees in our backyard.

I too was having a hard time coming up with a name for my business and finally settled on Esthers Field. THe property I live on was purchased with an inheritance from my Grandmother (Esther) and my mom has always called it Esthers Field. My grandmother was a very good business woman and as a tribute, I am naming my business after her.

I am also planning on selling more than soap so I wanted a name that I could use to encompass those.

Thanks so much for all the help =) I will have to run this by my business partner. Cocoa Bee is a very catchy name, and original. <3

I'm partial to anything with the word Apothecary in the name. I haven't changed that online handle of mine since 2003, so maybe I'm a lil biased.
