Is there any way to make your own powdered milk from your own goat milk? I would like to make some to try in bath fizzies/bombs and stuff but I don't know if there's a way I can do it at home. In a very old book, Caprine Cooking, a friend looked up the process in there of putting it in a double broiler until it gets down to cream and then putting it in an open oven but it didn't even get down to cream for me after being on the double broiler an entire day. Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm sure it can be done, but I think in the long run it would be less expensive to purchase it.

Too much time, trouble and expensive equipment to get it dry. I just buy mine.

As far as I know, it should be freeze-dried. You need a vacuum pump, balloons, etc.It is for a soap crafter almost too expensive and infeasible.
