Teach Soap

I got New Water proof labels, So of course I have to go in and change ALL of my layouts. And OF COURSE I always forget to put something on them (like, Location or Oz or SOMETHING!) and my bright idea was to completely REVAMP my entire label for Every Item I carry (Lip balm, Bubble Bath, Shower Gel, Bath Bombs, Lip balms, Solid Perfume, Cologne Sprays, Man Scrubs, Sugar Scrubs, Salt Scrubs, Body Mists, Bar soaps, Lotions, Body Butters, Seriously this list goes on and on and on!) I have different Logos for different Items. I have a really cool logo for all my Man Stuff (Creme"Bro"Love vs. My name CremeBruLove) and I have a completely different kid friendly version. Who on gods earth would have thought labeling would be this difficult! Arrrggggh. I'm taking a break and attempting fun soapy frosting for my fizzy cupcakes now. maybe that will stop me from throwing my computer right out of my third floor window and shattering it into a million pieces. Did I mention, because of the storm last night? I LOST ALL OF MY LABELS I GOT DONE? It's my fault but im still angry. Am I the only one who gets frustrated with labeling?! Kay, Vent Done. thanks for listening, my hubby thinks I'm making a big deal out of it, but its a lot of work trying to get things right!

Yeah, that was a nasty storm. I was on the computer working on some brochures when our power got knocked out and I ended up losing what I was working on. Why don't I save when the computer tells me to?

I hate labels, so I don't change mine.

Go frost some cupcakes and release the stress.

haha, I saw that you guys got hit pretty bad. I agree, i should have saved when the computer told me to. the only reason Im changing them is because of the new shape of the waterproof labels. That and the new logos I had created. off to work on the cuppycakes

I have one logo for all my products and I use standard size labels. Much easier if you have to label 100's of soaps, lotions, baths salts etc...

I'm hoping the photos work. these are my three logos, One for women (the basic) One for the kids and One for my Man soaps.

Men really didn't like the pink. They are however LOVING this logo. (and me too!)

I bought labels from a place that's just around the corner. Yet for some reason, their labels aren't standard Oz sizing. They also require setting up your own template (can't use Avery for example). I hate setting them up to all align right.

They are DONE! Thank goodness. I took a few Brakes inbetween to balance my eyes! haha! But I can honestly say that I am Extremely happy with them. And my first batch of cupcakes turned out amazing, I finally got the frosting recipe right, tweaked BB's recipe to get a consistency I really like. overall, it turned out to be a good day! Plus I got to have a Dance Party with my 4 year old to Rolling stones Station on Pandora. thats probably my favorite thing to do!

good for you Heather. If I ever decide on a label and standard wrapping idea it will be a miracle. I keep changing my mind!

I feel your pain. I do most of my work in Photoshop since I'm playing around with designing my labels now, as well as brochure, business card, etc. I also have done web design work for 12+ years, photography for years.

Yes, I have literally laid down and cried because a program crashed and I lost everything I'd done. So now, yep, I save about every 2-3 minutes. A few of the software programs I use do have an auto-save feature that I utilize.

I'm just hoping this laptop will last the rest of the year. Once I get next year's tax return back, I can replace it if I need to

I have the Serif PagePlus X5 program and I love it! It's so easy to use and I can do pretty much anything with it. The best part was that I only paid $49.95 for it on amazon.com. I still use a photoshop program for editing my photos, but for designing labels, signs, brochures, etc., I use PagePlus.

I bought printmaster a while ago for simple label making and brochures. Got labels done still working on a brochure! I'd love to see what else the software has but still have no time to just play! Ha! My graphic design friend made my logos, I love them! Thank you for your compliments! Means a lot to me!
