I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

The door outside has a little deck too, good place to sit and read while my liquid soaps and HP soaps cook! The window on the wall with the fish tank will have a small AC unit. There is one vent in there for the household AC but it stays about 80 in there. Ick!! So I'll cool it to a nice 65 probably. I'm part polar bear, I swear!

Was once was ick, now is chic! Well, if you like pale Caribbean blue anyhow We just finished painting the walls. Its all still taped up and needs a bunch of touch-ups (I suck and got paint everywhere... oops?). Will get a couple pictures after dinner!

Next step is to get some semi-gloss white paint and give the trim a coat. I may have gotten some blue on there as well.... though not too badly. The hubby let a few drips fall onto the baseboards too, will paint those after we re-hang them after installing the new floor. Hopefully picking up the floor next week!

Pictures! I looks almost baby blue in the pictures, but I assure you, it is Caribbean blue. Nice and bright! Almost THIS colour, but not quite as neon. Maybe my camera will take a better picture of it than my phone. Will try the camera for the next pictures!

The ceiling is white. The sun was setting so it gave a pink hue LOL I removed the tape today, seems I suck at applying it. There are little bits of purple around my trim. GRRR will get an artists' brush this week and fix that. Darn you frogtape!

That only happened in one small spot. Nothing I can't fix! I'm pretty good with an artist's brush too so hopefully I won't make a huge mess on the trim... which I have to put a coat of paint on anyhow.

An update!!! FINALLY!

We purchased the floor! It is "white travertine" luxury vinyl tile with a lifetime residential warranty. It comes pre-sealed, and you can grout between them if you want! We won't be because I find grout annoying to clean hehe.

Today we finished 90% of the touch-up painting. Tomorrow we pull off the old baseboards and rip up that nasty flooring! Friday afternoon we start to lay the new floor! We plan to have that finished this weekend *knock on wood*!

We changed the plans for the cupboards a bit, and if we can manage it it will mean 2 additional cabinets for storage! I also picked up a 10 drawer mobile cart from Michaels for my pigments, which will all be in JARS! I hate zip bags for pigments, I waste so much!

The trim all got a nice new coat of paint, looks nice and bright!

Still need to get sink, cabinets, plumbing, AC for the window, microwave, camcorder, clip lamp of some sort, blinds and a few extra shelves. Getting excited though! Every little thing we do in there is one thing closer to finishing it!!!
