Teach Soap

Here's a hint to BB... some of us avoid facebook and twitter for personal reasons... so why not put a quick note in the off topics section of this forum? That way we stay in touch as well.

I asked about this FO on BB's Facebook and this was the response from Becky:

" If you are using it for CP soaps, we do suggest trying out a small batch first as it does tend to mutate in CP soap."

Hmmm interesting. I guess I can use my sample in a tiny batch. I think it would be enough for a one-pound batch...and then see if I still want to order more. I hope my results are more like ljm1180's.

Just got a sample of this in my order yesterday as well. I'm not much into fragrances, but my husband is and he loved it. It wasn't too overpowering, which I appreciate and I love ginger! We'll probably soap it into a small batch today or over the weekend and see how it performs.

We were going a little too fast on the BB Facebook page today and we got White Tea and Ginger mixed up with White Ginger and Amber (eeps...sorry about that).

The White Tea and Ginger is the fragrance oil that morphs in cold process (and it morphs to a great scent in my opinion, it's just a little different than out of the bottle).

White Ginger and Amber is great in cold process. You won't have any problems with it.

I hope that clears things up and sorry for the confusion.

I got this as a sample in my BB order last week. I used it in my CP and it is beautiful. I cant wait until I can take that bar to the tub with me.

Newbie still learning.....

I put mine into the sugar scrub cubes on Teach Soap home page, and it came out smelling slightly like melon, I assume because of all the sugar. Really nice, but I think I'll buy more to CP with so I can smell the "un-sugared" version!
