Lets say I want to do a Orange Spice blend using EO in M&P soap. For 1 lb of base how much total EO would I use if I used Orange Cinnamon and CLove EO? I have looked at BB fragrance calculator but it only lets you use 1 EO at a time.

If you are wanting to blend all 3 EO's, you can either use 1/3 each of each, or work out the blend ratio's you like and then work out how much of each you need to add to make the total.

If BB's Fragrance Calculator tells you to add 12g of EO.
Then you can use 4 Orange, 4 Cinnamon and 4 Clove.
Or you might use 6 Orange, 3 Cinnamon and 3 Clove.
Etc....

It says only one teapoon for both the cinnamon and clove but the orange says 2 tsp. so would I do 1 tsp Orange with 1/2 cinnamon and 1/2 tsp clove for 1lb of base? That seems like alot to me. Im new at this and kinda confused

What kind of orange are you using?

Since clove & cinnamon are stronger and more likely to be skin irritants, I'd use those at less percentages than orange. I'd do the cinnamon at 25%, clove at 25% and the orange at 50% of your total scent.

You can figure out how much eo to use by breaking up your mp base on the calculator. Instead of putting it in as 16 oz, put it in as 4 oz for clove, 4 oz for cinnamon and then 8 oz for orange.

never thought about doing it that way. Looked it up and it says for 4oz for the cinnamon it would be .06 oz. haha any kinda of guesstimate how many drops that would be?

There's approximately 20 drops in a ml of eo.

.06 oz = approx. 1.77 ml. So, that would be like 35 drops or so, I think.
