Teach Soap

New to soap making! used Brambleberry soap base, added almond butter & bees wax. The soap got too hot and when cooled divided into 3 parts. Can I re-use this soap? HELP!

Welcome! You should be able to remelt it and do another pour. How much oil and wax did you add? It's recommended to not add more than 1 tablespoon total per pound of base of oils/butters to the M&P base or it will get soft and loose bubbles.

I used 2 oz of each

that's a lot! You may not be able to save it, but you can try melting and mixing it really well and then re-pouring. Only heat it until it's barely melted so it doesn't overheat.

I would not use beeswax. You will loose some lather. Most people add 1 Tablespoon of any oil or butter MAX per lb. of soap. MP base is best used as is. Just add some color and/or fragrance.
