Hello Fellow Soapers,
I am new and looking to make my first bath of M&P Goat Milk from B&B. I would like to use both liquid color and mica but I am not sure what amount to use per lb of M&P. Please help. Any tips or tricks would be great too! Or links....

Have you seen the Soap Queen video tutorials yet? I think these videos are a great place to start. Video #2 on this set goes over colorants for M&P. Hope it helps you as much as it helped me!

For liquid color start with a couple of drops. For mica, I start with just enough on the tip of a knife. Be aware since goat's milk is beige in color and opaque, the final color might be different.

The video that was linked is a great one!

For liquid color I just sort of add a drop or two, mix, see if I like it, add more if it doesn't look bold enough, mix again. For micas I prefer to mix a small amount with alcohol or liquid glycerin before adding to my soap - this is to prevent dye spots in the finished soap.

I did watch the tutorials, but I am trying to form a business plan and was looking for more exact amounts like the frangrance calculator on the BrambleBerry site provides.
