Once again I have to agree with Soapbuddy.
I think there is a gray area here that is much too gray for me!
I like things Black or White as far as Fragrances or Essential oils go.
Too many people have streched the truth about these ( OK flat-out lied through their teeth!) for me to believe anyone anymore.

Okay let's have at it then-as I was very confused when I encountered this type of labeling as well. Musk is and EO supposeddly-but you can never find it under ANY EO list it is always listed under natural fragrant oil(or not-as I have seen Musk under just fragrant oil-with nothing stating that it is naturla)

Also-Jasmine falls under this same roof-if you go to Lotus Light and look up Jasmine under EO's you won't find it-but if you look under natural fragrant oils-boom there it is.
So what are you gals saying -that the distributers are innaccurately labeling the product? Do you think they are purposfully doing such?(Not that I have not run across this with a certain organic product line that umm begins with A )
Okay for example I just went to the Liberty Natural site and here is the link https://www.libertynatural.com/indexor.html You will not find Jasmine under EO's -but if you do a search for Jasmine you will find-varying types of Absolute (now what would you call this-it is indeed a natural fragrant oil-but not ans essential oil) also you see wax florals and-well whatever else.

I am not trying to agree or disagree with anyone-simply looking to clarify this as I sell this stuff and do not want to mislabel-if you all have some information that I do not please share it with me:)

Phew!! Thank you for all that info-I usually use Wholesale supplies/Brambleberry/lotus light (coop) but was really confused about the Jasmine-I had always thought it was an EO until I started making goods last year and was even more confused when I found it under natural fragrant oil-becasue I had thought there were fragrant oils and essential oils period.
So do you think the Jasmine from Lotus light is not natural even though they say it is?? I have a bottle coming-but have not sold anything from it yet lol!
I will see if I can research this a little more-Thanks again for the info-I wish people would just label things exactly for what they are instead of trying to make an extra sale by being tricksy-that's funny about the blueberry and bubblegum EO's ROFL! ROFL!

Oh the musk I got this time is Himalayan Musk we got at a whole food grocer who said it was all natural-it says alcohol free fragrance from NEMAT INTERNATIONAL-I have not heard of them-any opinions it was $8 for 1/4 oz
