I followed the directions to the letter but somehow the soap never hardened and instead I have a consistency of pudding in my 2 batches of soap. I used the scale and I'm wondering if there is such a thing as "overmixing" the soap. Has anyone ever encountered this? Help!!
I tried CPOP but it never melted back to liquid form. I'm thinking I can use the soap as a liquid soap base and the PH test came out fine.

It is difficult to know what went wrong without knowing the oils, the amount of sodium hydroxide and water you used in your recipe.
There could be lots of reasons for the gloppy mess - for example you could have used too much water, or not enough lye, or the mixture not coming to trace etc.
Did you use a lye calculator?

Pudding is thick trace. Cold process soap will never be a liquid like you started with. You need potassium hydroxide to make liquid soap. If you try to make liquid soap from soap that was made with sodium hydroxide, then add extra water to make it a liquid, you will end up with snot soap.
