I need a little advice. I could really do with a pH meter, but what to buy?
I checked out EBay and I found three categories:
1. Ridiculously cheap - probably doesn't work
2. About $45 - $60, pen-type devices that come with a storage solution and sponge
3. Very expensive, say $250 and up.

Do the reasonably-priced pen-type meters work? Does anyone have one?

what are you going to measure exactly? pH of soaps? Lotions? Raw material?

Yes, I do, but he's in a delicate state of health so doesn't make it down here too often now.
I have found the same item on EBay too, maybe since it is small I could get it Fedexed.
