Honey is extremely hygroscopic, meaning it loves to absorb water out of the atmosphere.

It doesn't matter whether you are making a lotion with water or a whipped butter without water, if honey gets a chance to suck up any moisture, it will!

P.S. I'm a beekeeper, that's how I know :)

So are you telling me that the honey will ruin my product unless I add more water to it than? Do you know what is different about powder? And can I use it the same way?

Silly question here, but if honey saps all the water...why have I read how moisturizing it is than?
