Teach Soap

Do you folks ever contact your supply companies if you see they have something priced way too high? Today's example is a soaping supply company selling an additive for twice the price of the local stores (riteaid, walmart etc).

If the company is priced very high, I just look elsewhere.

If you order alot from them and know that the quality is equal there would be no harm in asking. Maybe they are not aware that they are being underpriced and would make an adjustment. Or maybe they need to go back and look at their supplier's cost.

I used to order from them, but their email was rude! They said if I use the walmart stuff my soap is dollar store quality!!! I was tempted to tell them right where I think they should stick their overpriced product, but I restrained myself! Instead I just removed the bookmark for their site.

Wow, that's really rude. Maybe you should try contacting someone else at this supplier (by phone) to let them know how crappy one of their customer service reps handled your email.
