I'm crafting a deodorant recipe and am hoping someone can recommend a replacement for cocoa butter, as deodorized CB is just so expensive. I've only ever used shea and a little mango or sal here and there, so I don't know how most compare when it comes to texture, hardness, odor, moisture and all that.
Since this is a deodorant, I'd like it to glide on easily but not leave a noticeable moisturized feel behind. It shouldn't be dry/crumbly (I think the cocoa butter is making my recipe a bit crumbly). Hardness isn't too important as I can adjust that with wax.
Thank you, everyone! As always, your input is much appreciated.
