I can't comment on the 9 bar BB mold Heather just posted because I only got mine today I hope it is totally worth it. If it is, I may buy a second one or invest in the 18 bar version.

I love my 2lb and 3lb wood log molds from Soap Making Resource (I bought the 3lb with the cutting slot). http://www.soap-making-resource.com/woo ... molds.html After having used it, I will say that I wish I did NOT buy it with the cutting slot and simply bought a plain old miter box from Lowe's or wherever. But I love the wood molds even if they are sometimes a pain to line though watching the video on the SMR website, it really is easy, just takes a few minutes for the smaller molds like mine.

I also like my Crafter's Choice silicone log molds (the 40-44oz volume molds, not the guest size). Multiple suppliers carry this mold but I got mine from WSP. I can tell you from experience that this log mold withstood an Oatmeal Milk & Honey overheated batch which was accidentally in the oven at 425 degrees last night It is no worse for the wear today when I cleaned it up.

I like the silicone loaf molds, and I also have 3 wooden slab molds that my husband made for me from scrap wood.

I like my silicone loaf mold that I bought on BB as well. I cut it using a "cutting mold" with slits in it that I purchased on Etsy.

I pretty much only use the BB wood 9 & 36 bar slab molds. I love them.

20 lbs? Mine only holds 15.5! I'll have to talk to Rich about that! I'm just kidding. He designed it to fit my preferred bar size. He makes them all custom.

Wow....20 lbs of soap....how do you pour that??? Heavy!!
