Quick question about wood molds...

I just bought a wood mold and am planning on useing it to make both M&P and CP soaps. It says it is sealed. I have read other lining topics but I don't undertsnad whether the lining is to stop leaks or so the soap doesn't leak. Is there an official "how-to" for lining anywhere?

You need to line the mold so that soap doesn't leak out and make your log stick to the mold.
www.chestnutfarms.com has a "how-to" guide to line a mold.

Also www.soap-making-resource.com is interesting.

I would line it. It might be sealed, but I wouldn't take the chance.
