I am sorry for the mis-understanding. I did use my stick blender, just not for long amounts of time. It kept getting overheated, so I would alternate with hand stirring. It's all a new experiment anyway. We'll see if I can figure this out. I do appreciate all of the help and input from the forum. :D

I think it did...as the batch was thick and creamy when I finally got it into the mold. But, because I am so green at this whole process, I could very well have been mistaken about trace.

Generally all soaps use Olive Oil. But an all olive oil soap is Castile soap yes. And that needs to cure for approx 6 months.

Well darn...6 months it is then. Guess I had better work on batch #2 next week, one with a different formula.
