I did a bar with no palm and all cocoa butter. Had nice hardness numbers, but yes, considering the price I paid for the amount of CB, it was pricey. So if can get a larger amount of CB, I can lower the price per ounce quite a bit. But still a bit pricey compared to Palm or Lard.

Debbie, have you been able to test the lather on the all cocoa butter bar? This is an idea that never crossed my mind.

I've made it a few times, and it's a great recipe. The only minus was that the bars seemed to disappear fast in the shower, so I added 2% sodium lactate.

Thanks Melliferia. I will see how this compares to what I am experimenting with right now. I am a little leary about sea clay since my episode with kelp powder. But there are others to try.
