Teach Soap

I have a sample bottle of Leather from BC. I am going to visit a friend in 10 days who LOVES the smell of leather and so I thought I would try my hand at HP tonight after I get back from picking up dinner in a minute. I usually use 0.5 to 0.7 ppo in my CP. Since I add the FO at the end of the cook in the HP, would 1oz be enough for a 3lb batch of HP? I would do a full 0.7 to make sure it was strong enough, but I won't get my larger bottle in for a few days so I thought maybe I could do a 2lb batch tonight with the 1oz and see how it sticks (since the FP is 120, I will have to wait until its really done cooking to add) and then try a larger batch with a stronger scent if needed.

Anyways, just curious if y'all use the same amount of FO in your HP that you use in CP.

Leather FO is normally very strong. 1 oz. of fragrance should be enough for 2 lbs. of soap.

Thank you Irena. I thought as much. When I weighed out the 1oz, it was actually .85 oz so I'm a lil ticked, but it was a freebie so not much I do have a larger bottle coming so if I can smell a nice leather, I'll make another batch when my larger bottle comes in.
