A friend asked me to make a body butter with tea tree oil, but I'm not sure how much tea tree oil to use. Also, I thought about adding lemongrass FO, since tea tree doesn't smell that great. Can anyone give me some advice on this?

Tea tree oil is very strong. To give you an idea, for a 4 oz. product, I would use 10 drops of tea tree and that's plenty strong. You can half that if you like.

Ok, that helps. I was thinking about 1/2 or 1 oz to a 20 oz batch, so that should be good, I think.
Thanks! :)

You're welcome. I would start off with just a 1/2 oz. for that size batch. You can always add just a little bit more, but you can't take it away.
