You're welcome. Yes, that's been my experience too, that's why I suggest mixing the 2 different bases together to see how you like it and testing it before selling. I haven't tried an oatmeal base, just the goatsmilk and honey bases together and (optional) adding some exfoliants (the ground oatmeal, ground loofah or jojoba beads), so can't tell you how an oatmeal and honey base mix would come out. Let us know how it turns out for you.
Brambleberry also sells wonderful aloe, shea and hemp M&P bases which are included in the soap sampler so there are numerous combos or plain type soaps you could make. Also available from BB separately are their olive oil & shaving M&P bases - the olive oil base has 20% olive oil & is great as is (gentle moisturizing lather) although it has that distinctive OO smell and the shaving base (lots of long-lasting lather) makes a wonderful (unisex) shaving soap with some clay added for slip.
