What tips to mixing fo? for avoiding a too fast trace..

You can HP that one. Some fo's are just not nice to play with!

What FO is it?
I usually don't add my fo's until after the soap's completely traced. But as FOhoarder said, you could always HP it.

A lot of florals tend to accelerate trace. Try soaping cool, add the fragrance to your melted oils and use a stainless steel whisk instead of a stick blender.

I would also add - have your mold ready to go and do not attempt to do more than a one colored soap until you have worked with the fragrance and know how it behaves.
