Can you make regular M&P cupcakes (just the cup cakes) and than either add the M&P cup cake recipes for just the frosting ? I am talking about the recipe the soap queen has up on her blog it's called the foaming bath whip cupcakes. If this makes any sense , I don't think I am describing it very well.

Also can I make M&P cup cakes base and than use a col pour frosting recipe just for the top?

I have a book with a recipe in it for M&P cupcakes. I haven't tried making them yet, but basically they made the "cake" part of the cupcake with colored M&P and a scent that matched the color, and then for the "frosting" they just put a thin layer of white/unscented M&P. She used those silicone baking cups so that they would have defined crinkled edges and look more like cupcakes. I thought they looked cute!

So you took the white M&P soap and made the base of the cup cake and than added clear M&P to the white base and whipped it? Were you able to pipe it and decorate it to look like real cup cakes/ I have a recipe here that they add foaming bath whip and merinque powder with clear m&p and whipped it and was able to pipe it...the thing is i don't want to waist my cp ingredients(or ingredients that I use for other things) in case it comes out bad.

No, the cupcakes I was talking about did not have a whipped icing. They just had a colored layer for the "cake" part, and then a white layer for the "icing" part. It looked more like a fondant covered cupcake, not a cream covered cupcake, but it was still nice looking.

I have seen some whipped M&P soap in the share your work section on the board. Maybe you could look back and see who made it and PM them?

There is a couple of good youtube video "how to" M & P icing. I forget who did them but if you do a search.
