Hi guys,

I made a batch of soap with only lavender EO and after two weeks it seems as if the scent is fading, should I have used lavender FO as well because I am sure that I used enough (the scent was quite strong at first)

Hi Pixiefeet,

I'm not sure, but I would prob. wait till it fully cures. Reason why I say this is because I used a Vanilla Buttercream fragrance that smelled great in the bottle, but stunk when my soap gelled and whatnot. During the curing process, it morphed again and smells great.

It depends on if you want it All Natural with the EO or if you just want the smell, If you just want the smell, then use FO, it's probably less expensive.
( I use 40/42 EO also.)

It's a specific type of lavender eo. There are a lot of different varieties.
