Teach Soap

I am trying to "paint" some snowmen soap with micas. I was wondering if you had any tips to make it easier. Should I mix the micas with a little alcohol before painting or just do it the way I am. I am spraying the soap with alcohol and then painting on the dry micas. It is making a mess and there is so much detail that it is hard to wipe off the parts I don't want painted. Please help! Thanks.

I tried mixing my micas with some alcohol and it worked beautifully. Much faster than spraying and then rubbing on. Looks like I painted it with actual soap paints. Pretty proud. Too bad that was the 3rd one out of 3. LOL! Well, now I know what to do. Thanks.

I've been making and using my own soap paints for years and due to popular request I now offer them to the public.






They are more expensive but don't pill, pull or bleed (or dry out).

PJ, I did look at your soap paints. Several times actually and wanted to order them but unfortunately it takes money and I didn't have time to wait on them arriving. I had to make due with what I had for now. Eventually if this does take off and my customer orders as many as she is talking about then I will get them because it would be much easier and I could do some really cute things with the proper equipment.
