And this is my bigger Mothers Day basket which has the Cherry Blossom soap in it that i posted yesterday, as well as a bath bomb, wax melts/oil burner and a massage bar. Put them on my page this morning and sold out already ( i only made 4, but i still think thats good work!)

thanks Soapbuddy. I will never forget the time when I first started soaping and i wanted to make a purple soap, unfortuently my lid somehow fell off and a lot of purple went into the soap, probably just a little bit darker than the stars above. I was so scared - i didn't want anyone to turn purple! So i gave my husband a bar and said 'try this for me' without telling him why. When he came out of the shower and he wasn't a purple people eater I felt a bit better. He still likes to tell people how he tests my soap for me to make sure they smell nice, feel nice and don't turn you purple!

You picked a really nice variety for your mother's day basket! I'm sure any mom would be pleased to get that as a gift!

My very first soap, just got the supplies today and tried it out, I first learned about soap making about two weeks ago. This is my first creation, shells!

It's an Aloe Vera base with Light Gold Mica (looks like sand!), The shells are Shea Butter. It's scented with Pear Berry.

I can't wait to make more! I hope you like them, I know they are so beginner looking compared to everyone else, but we have to start somewhere.

Those look wonderful! Way better than the first soaps I ever made! Nice work Fayt!

Afternoon all

I've been a bit quiet lately (long story involving Mastitis and a Fractured leg ) but these are my latest little soaps that I'm pretty happy with... The second lot of pink went too dark, but they still work... sort of.
