Wow, I've been away from the forum for a few days and missed a lot!

Mella, love the cheesecake soap! It looks yummy!

Beautiful GM soaps, Goddessbec! I made my first GM soap last month. Today is the cure date, and I can't wait to use it!

Genny, your Sweet Temptation soap looks beautiful! Love the description of the fragrance, too.

Beautiful swirls, ihagai! Love the colors.

Susie, love the Flowing Waters Wasabi - Wasabi is one of my all-time fave FOs. And the Blueberry Festival soap is stunning - such great colors and piping. :)

Gorgeous soap Susie! How did you do the top on the blueberry one? It is really pretty!

thanks Jrose and celestial!

The blueberry top was done by putting green soap in a squeeze bottle with the top cut off to a medium opening and then just squeezed on top of my blue and white swirl. Then I took 'blueberries' I had made prior and sprinkled them on top. I made the blueberries out of 3oz clear M&P with 1oz of white M&P colored blue. Poured it in a 8x8 silicone pan, let set up. Then I cut them into small little pieces put them inside a heating pad to soften them and rolled into little balls -then pressed a 'belly button' into each berry. Volia! Blueberries! This soap was very fun to do.

Here's my first attempt at the "pencil line" technique:

Image

The pencil line was made with Bramble Berry's cappuccino mica, and the soap is scented with eucalyptus and clove essential oils.

I like the dash of character that the line gives. I definitely plan to experiment some more with this technique!

Jrose, excellent job. I have never tried a mica... but someday. The pencil line is a favorite of mine.

Beautiful black & white, Irena! I did an anise & peppermint blend using a black oxide powder swirl that looks a lot like yours! :D

Soapbuddy, I love black and white... guess I should put it on my list to do. You have a great hand with the swirls you produce, almost ethereal.
