Where are you located? My experience is that it takes at least 5-7 days for anything to ship across country (unless you paid extra for express air delivery). And although FedEx doesn't deliver on the weekends, they do continue to move packages that are in transit.

Fayt, my fedex tracking screen is the EXACT same! Same delivery date too!

Apparently the truck ran out of gas or something. Maybe abducted by aliens.
I can't believe it cost $9.00 for shipping when I ordered less than two pounds of stuff, checking out the price it should have come to exactly $5.00 - $5.50 to ship it. That's UPS of course, Fedex must be really high cost.

Do you think we can all pitch in to have them open a second warehouse on the east coast? I want to buy from them always, but I can't anymore with 10 days shipping and high shipping costs........

My first order was around 1/2 the weight of my second, and almost the same cost for shipping. This order is ~40 lbs and around $40 shipping. Not sure how they calculate it, some equation including weight and box size along with contents I suppose. Now to get my engineering brother to invent a teleportation device for me! LOL

It looks like you ordered on the 10th and your order was shipped on the 12th. Everything looks normal to me as far as the tracking information is concerned. I wish we were located closer to the east coast but, unfortunately, Washington (state) is 4-5 business days in transit shipping with the standard ground shipping option.

The cheapest shipping methods will be available on the website and there is usually an $8.50 starting point with FedEx. The good news is that you could actually add a couple more items to the package without the shipping increasing. USPS might be your best bet though if you're only ordering a small colorants.

I would be happy to answer any other questions that you may have regarding our turnaround and transit times.

fayt - I think what you're seeing is that the last item posted was that it has departed Troutdale, OR. It probably won't have any other updates until it shows up at your door, unless it stops at another transit center or something. That's how it looked for my last order from BB too. Even more frustrating because Troutdale is just 30 minutes drive from my house and I kept thinking, "Geez, I should just go get it at this point!"

Is it possible to open a second company out to the east? Expanding is the very best thing and will double your business. There is no soap supply places out here anywhere that we can buy from, so you'd get a ton of business, either warehouse or warehouse + store (local pickup).

I'm sure there are local soap supplies places in your area, fayt. I found a place locally where I can buy the heavier stuff (like oils and soap base). The place I order from in town has a very limited selection though, so I order things like fragrance oils and colorants from BB. I'm sure you can find a list online of local venders.

Someone PM'd me a place, which I won't advertise, but they offer free shipping on most items, and the tiny items they do exact shipping costs not flat rate.

I love the bramble berry selection, but if I am going to have a business and need things quicker and low cost, I don't have much of a choice, however I would still use BB for items I can't find other places.
