Okay.....I know this should be completely obvious to me, but it's not.
How exactly do you use the pH strips to test a bar of soap? Do I just put water on the soap and rub the strip in the wet spot? Do I hold it there a certain length of time? Am I way off track????
I did the zap test, but since I'm not a fan of licking soap (might have something to do with getting my mouth washed out with soap as a child for saying naughty words!), I'm trying to find a reliable method of pH testing.
Guidance, please??

Try wetting the surface lightly, spread the water around a little, then put your test strip on top of it.
