@Heather, something I learned this past week is that different colors affect soap differently as do some fragrances, in regards to how quickly or slowly they set up. I split a 4 lb batch and did a load of different things with it and well it is interesting to see how fo and color operate, an old lesson relearnt!

@Irena yes charcoal. Of course I couldn't leave it just white! LOL.

@ihagai lovely colors and your swirl is very wispy and I like it!

Thank you, DaveW and Soapbuddy! I was thrilled with the results and I think it will add a unique touch to our soaps.
The texture feels cool also, as the heat from the laser actually makes the surface bubble a little and the end result is that the lettering is raised up a bit. I assumed it would be recessed into the soap, but it did the opposite.

Carrie, those are fantastic ! He does very good work. You can adapt those to all kinds of applications. Just think for a wedding or anniversary you could engrave the names and dates. And if he can do a design that would cool as well. Thanks for sharing.
