Can anyone tell me what the standard depth and width a loaf mold usually is please. I know that most slices are 2.5cm thick and the length is opptional. My partner makes my molds and I was wondering if there is a usual standard size,,,,,,thanks

I have my molds based on soap making resources wooden molds , which are 10in Long x 3.5in Wide x 2.75in High which will hold 3 pounds of soap. The 4 pound mold is 13in Long x 3.5in Wide x 2.75in. As you can see, as the volume of the soap increased the length is increased but not the width and height. This makes a very uniform bar. If you cut them at 1 inch intervals, you soap will be a uniform 1 inch x 3.5 inch x 2.75 inches, no matter how much you make.
