Teach Soap

It's a good starter recipe, but you might want to reconsider the proportions you're using. 80% olive oil will take forever to reach trace, even with a stick blender, and the soap will stay soft far longer. I'd suggest bumping the amounts of coconut and palm up to ensure a harder bar that will reach trace faster. Maybe try a 60/20/20 ratio instead?

Also - there is a pound of oils in the recipe, but the batch of soap will be over a pound. So if your mold only holds a pound then you may want to have another mold on hand for the 8 or so ounces that you will have left over.

And maybe get out the stick blender to help with the longer tracing time that the high olive oil will lead to (I am so spoiled by that stick blender)!

I actually have a stick blender that I have been meaning to give to my mom for years (keep forgetting to take it to her) but it's going to be my soaping blender now!
