Has a simple formula that with a couple of fancy bits stripped out looks like: Sodium Cocoamphoacetate 15%, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate 3.8%, Cocamidopropyl Betaine 13.%, Water 64.%, Citric Acid (30% in water) 3%, Preservative.
I have the cocoampho and the betaine, this latter being found in everything, but I didn't have the succinate (I've found a supplier now) so I used 4% ammonium lauryl sulfate instead. Still extremely mild. I made a test litre using Spectraguard as a preservative and a mild coco-vanilla fragrance, (50/50 with Tween20). Added 0.3% quaternium-60 and one drop of green food colour. At first it was like water and a pH of 8, but adding the citric acid brought it down nicely to pH5 and it thickened up, too. It's not quite as thick as I want it for a shampoo so I'll modify it a little, maybe add a few % of another amphoteric. I'll add some vitamin E, too.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out, good basis.
