This might seem like a silly question to ask, but can you use flavor oil as a fragrance oil? I am making lotio bars and have some pretty decent flavor oils in scents that I don't have for FO's. Thanks.

It might be best to ask your flavor supplier.

I would think it would be safe considering that usually a lotion bar is nothing more than a large lip balm. I've heard of people putting flavor oil in their soap, but I'd think you'd have to go beyond the safety useage maximum to be able to get a good smell.

This may be a dumb question, but why do you want to use flavor oil? Also this made me think....are the oils and beeswax used in a lotion/massage bar safe if you were to ingest some? Does it depend on the oils?
