I have never PH tested any of my soaps. I don't feel the need or see the point.

The only soap that I test the PH for is my liquid soap. I have never tested the PH for my bars.

May I ask why you test for PH? I am not trying to be a smart-a@#, I really would like to know the reasons behind it.

I tested once or twice when I first started soaping but haven't done it again since my third batch or so. My batches, at least the ones I've tested were in the 7.25 to 7.75 range.

I have a pH meter that I use for work that provided pH readings to the 100th.

Have to agree with Lauri.....just don't see the point in doing it.

I always thought that the PH range for a bar soap is in the 9-9.5 range?
