Teach Soap

I've got a lot of trimmings from when I bevel my CP soap. It's quite a variety of colors but they're mostly subdued colors. Nothing wild and bright. I want to make a CP batch and add them to it but I need ideas for the FO. I will be ordering from BB and I don't want to use anything from the "favorites" group since I use most of those already.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Irena. Since I already do Energy and call it Summer Citrus and I add Poppy Seeds, I don't want to confuse people (myself included...hehe!)

But your response prompted me to search through all of the fruit scents. None of the citrus really jumped out at me so I mixed together all of my trimmings to see what the color blend really "says" to me. They are mostly light tan, cream and earthy pink so I think I might try Passionfruit Papaya. Actually, I'm definitely going to try it. I got so excited over the idea that I've already placed my order! I'm so excited!

Now I've got to decide if I want to leave my soap base uncolored or tinted. If I do tint, I'm thinking a peachy pink color, what do you think?

If your soap shreds are a light color, go ahead and color the base too. I bet that will be pretty.

I know you already ordered it and are going to try the papaya, you could also try a birthday cake or a yummy buttercream type fragrance. I know you said that the confetti colors wouldn't be wild, but when I think of confetti I always think of parties which in turn always makes me think of birthday cake!!

My Passionfruit Papaya should be arriving either today or tomorrow! (I wish the tracking info worked but there is no info showing up when I check.)

I ordered 4 ounces of it so I sure hope I like the way it smells.

Thank you! I am really pleased. There is actually A LOT of confetti in there and even though it's noticeable, it's not overbearing. And the base turned out exactly how I wanted it...kind of peachy pink. Or more specifically, I'd proabably call it "blush".

And the FO smells great! I didn't like it for the first 3 or 4 days. It had sort of a sour smell....like rotten oranges or something. But then it magically changed and is perfect. i made it with 100 CO so it would be nice and hard when it came time to cut. And I didn't have any trouble.

Thank you for helping with this project! My first confetti soap was a success! Yay!

Nice looking soap. I love the color and the beveled edges... I really should take the time to do that more often.
