Teach Soap

The man from the moving company came to see how much stuff I have today. The plan is for them to pick everything up next week, probably Tuesday! We leave here April 5th and drive to Montreal that day (around 13 hours of driving). That night we are staying at my brother's house, then we take off again the next morning and head for the border! The border will supposedly take us a couple of hours to cross; immigration paperwork is about an hour, inspection of goods and duty fee processing should be about an hour, and animal inspection should be 30 minutes or so. After all of that we have another drive! 4 or 5 hours to my house in NJ... and hopefully a HUGE hug from my fiance who I haven't seen for over a year!

And through all of this... no soap making! ARG! I have to pack up the bowls and stick blender etc later today and there it will stay until I am in NJ and settled enough to soap. Ugh, I'm going to be jonesing for some soaping!

Sounds exciting have a safe trip, I have many family members in NJ and lived most of my life in NY. Your soaps should sell well there if you sell. Happy new beginnings

This is just me .... I would give up soap making forever for those hugs! But I am sure he won't mind having some soap around, so you will get the best of both worlds very soon. I am so excited for you

The moving company phoned while I was at work and let us know that they can't ship my stuff down until I have my "green card". So I have to wait a while (at least a month!). I'm thinking my BB wishlist will have to become a need list before my stuff arrives! A month or 2 with no soap would be... unimaginable! Oh well... more soap stuff!
