Teach Soap

It went from room to frozen a few times (fridge on the fritz) And now it has cloudiness coming up from the bottom it also has vitamin E in it. Is it going bad ? Same with jojoba oil and shea liquid but no visible differences. Maybe avocado oil always has a bit of cloudiness? I want to use them all in some hand lotion

How old is the avocado?

My avocado is perfectly clear, so I don't think the cloudiness is normal. Does it smell "off" ?

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I dont know about the smell but it has a cloud in it so I probably shouldn't use it. Thank you for the help

Does anyone know if the shea liquid went bad from being frozen and unfrozen a few times? Along with jojoba oil. They were all together.

Jojoba oil has a long shelf life. Avocado doesn't. I've only used shea butter, but not shea oil.

Thank you for all the help! I just looked at the avocado oil again and threw it out, it had flakes in it . It was not very old but did go from frozen to melted over and over due to a faulty fridge. I cannot seem to find a place to store my oils that does not go from one extreme temperature to another. My house does it too. I'm in a very old house and so I think that is why it is hard to keep it at a constant temp and does tend to go to extremes. I'm thinking of buying a little fridge just for my oils to keep. What do all of you do? Also what do you use for conatiners to store your herbs?

I have a dedicated second fridge for my soap and lotion making supplies. My herbs are stored in amber glass jars or bottles with wide mouths.

If you use bottles with wide mouths are they still amber or can you just stick them in a cupboard? Do you know of a good place to buy them in bulk?

Or maybe glass bail jars?

I'm moving back to my old house which is terribly insulated and the heat goes from extreme to nothing (freezing). I may have to only buy herbs the day i'm going to use them and use them all instantly i suppose
