Here are my problem batches. The first is my confetti soap, it was a little soft when I cut it but it turned out decently well! There are a few bubbles inside soap curls, but I like it! The second is my probably failed coconut spoon swirl. It sucks that it is super soft and leaking super zappy liquid. The inside of the soap is not zappy though. Going to leave it like a week a see what happens. My spoon swirl is SO nice though! ARG! [the "white" spots in the spoon swirl are actually glitter! The lines in the top swirl picture are actually from "shredded iridescent glitter" guess bars with that need to be cut sideways or upside down.]

Looks good Heather! I hope the zappy soap doesn't have to be rebatched.

I don't know if I would bother to rebatch it. The FO is completely gone, and it has a nice layer of glitter on it. Will likely bin it if it isn't salvageable.

Ah, but if it is salvageable by rebatching, then could you not just add some more FO/EO then?
And you never know, leave it for a bit and it might be ok. The two problem batches I had a couple of weeks ago (crumbly texture) that I thought were to be binned actually seem fine now - even though I know you're not *really* supposed to try em out until a wee bit longer..... Any hint of leaking zappyness has completely gone.

This batch was already a little heavy on FO, I wanted a nice strong scent. I did .75 oz PPO.

The black and red is a spoon swirl? Is that the kind where you spoon the batter in? It almost looks like a funnel pour!

Pretty soaps. I like the confetti. How did you get those tight spirals?

For using up "scraps" the colors in the confetti soap blend very well together!

Great job Heather. I love seeing pictures of what people are working on.As a newbie it's good for the inspiration to keep trying different things. Love the confetti soap and the swirl turned out great as well.
