Deb, Grate Confetti soap. I will be trying something similar soon with a red peppermint soap that has a bit too much red. My hubby didn't like the red spots it left all over the sink.

Adam, the swirls look great! Nice job.

Thanks folks - I think I am beginning to get the hang of this swirling malarkey :) I think I might need to not take the trace as far as I do though - to get the nice fine lines most folk here seem to get :) Im particularly fond of the blue colour, but constantly a little disappointed by the yellow from the dye I have.

Irena - I use a standard 7% superfat for just about all of my recipes.

Cheers,
Adam

Adam, for finer swirls you need a very thin trace. Or do an ITP (in the pot) swirl.

My newest creations.. the Letter M. The one that is painted, is made to look like antique blue paint. Let me know some opiinions/thoughts on these. I'm thinking they are great for weddings (could do two tone, based on the colors of the wedding) and housewarming gifts.

Soapy Sue, I like them. That color blue is fantastic... but even more is how nicely you did the painting. And your bar is sooo very white! How big are they? Can you do every letter?

As above, that colour is great, and the contrast with the white is ace. However, may I make a suggestion? If you painted the raised rim as well as the letter, it would give lovely definition to the whole thing.
They would then also look like large versions of LoveHeart sweets (or candies as you folks over there call them :) )

Thanks guys and thanks Adam for your suggestion. I've got lots of ideas for these little guys.. i'll keep posting :)

Tonight I am experimenting with lab colors, I have about 8 or so that I have had forever and not used, so here is the lineup:? Key West Lime, Hyacinth High, Lilac, Marigold, Gurlie Pink, Green Wreath and Jade. I also have some Fizzy Lemonade that is a beautiful shade of yellow if you havent already seen it on SoapQueen TV :)

Beautiful chunk soap, Deb!

Adam, very nice swirls!

Love the initial soaps, Lorie! Those would be cute for weddings. :)
