Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

This is a picture of Zach, I think its about 2 years old. He loves playing inside things like boxes and paper bags. All of his pictures he is looking away or closing his eyes, I think he is a bit camera shy. This is how I will remember him, not as the skeleton he is now. He's a good boy and I guess 14 years is a good long life for him.

Oh hunny I am so sorry. When I saw this thread had popped back into the current list I felt such a knot form in my stomach. 14 years is a great length. And in a way, he's choosing to leave you before the move. I would hate to think of you beating yourself up if he passed just after the move - so many 'what ifs' would drive you crazy. Big, big hugs to you.

Thanks so much folks, it REALLY helps to know I have such great friends here. Doing my best to remember all of the good times I've had with him and not to focus on what has to be done this week. Going to miss my little man.

He is gone, I held him in my arms when the vet put him to sleep and told him I loved him, and said goodbye. Really want to immerse myself in a mad batch of soaping to calm my nerves, but now I have to go to work. Going to miss my little man.

He is home now, in a nice wooden urn. I do alright most of the time, but sometimes I feel like my heart is missing a big piece.
