That's a pretty teal Coolah and I like the design on the top.

My latest soap, I let my son do all the planning for this one, he chose the fragrance oil, the colours and helped with the pouring once it was all mixed up, it seemed right that he should name it after himself too!

The fragrance description says: 'A fresh fruity fragrance with notes of fresh, dewy apple, juicy pear, mandarin and raspberry'. it smells Delish!

Very nice Gardener's soap, Mellifera! I like the colors and the scent sounds fantastic.

Pretty swirls, Semplice! What fragrance is it?

Love your spearmint soaps, Coolah! Such pretty swirls, and I like the green color. Glad the soap gremlins finally let you soap in peace!

Nice soap, soaphel, and it's great that your son helped with it! The fragrance sounds wonderful, and the colors are pretty. :)

Nice soaps folks! SO glad you had a good batch Coolah!! It looks fantastic!

Here is my raspberry lemonaid, it was a teeny bit soft but not too bad, need to clean up a couple oxide smears (as you can see), guess I missed a few clumps in my red oxide :? The second picture is on the windowsill so the colours show a little more true. Its a buttery yellow with raspberry coloured swirls. ITP swirl.

hi guys!

i can finally post here on the CP forum!! i finally tried my hand at rebatching. i bought BB's rebatch soap.

i used:

1 lb of rebatch soap
1/4 cup water
.50 oz blend of orange EO,patchouli EO,amber FO
copper sparkle mica mixed with borage oil
cappuccino mica mixed with borage oil

melted soap and water in the crock pot till it got to a nice consistency which was more close to fresh soap than potatoes.
added EO/FO blend and stirred
separated soap and colored it
attempted to swirl

the cappuccino colored soap hardened up a little quicker than i anticipated; so next time i'll have to warm the container i move soap to for coloring.

the soap has been sitting out for about 2.5 weeks and is sort of like stale fudge that's been left in the fridge too long. it's not like a hard bar. im not expecting it to get too much harder due to the water content.

here's some pics of my first rebatch attempt. it's half sized because i put 1 lb of soap in a 2.5 lb loaf mold. lemme know whatcha think. all input is much appreciated.

Heather - looks like a marbled baked cheesecake :) Yummy!
Coolah - liking the turquoise-y colour swirls. I notice a darker edge around those soaps - is that something that happens with goats milk?

That's kind of what I was going for Adam! Mom is absolutely in LOVE with this one, it smells sooo good. Just need to clean up the red smudges a bit. Thinking of mixing my oxides with glycerin in jars like I do my TD, less chance of lumps if its pre-mixed I think!

Beautiful swirls, Hestey! I whisk my oxides with a bit of glycerin to work out any clumps. :)

Dragonlady, love your rebatched soap! The fragrance blend sounds fantastic!

I do too, but I was rushing to mix extra as the first batch only made the soap orange! It was a little accelerated so I mixed the second batch up super fast and apparently didn't do such a good job. Oh well! Still looks awesome and smells amazing
