I've had enough. It's not even funny anymore.

WHAT IS THIS?!?!



*head desk* *head desk* *head desk* * HEEEAAAD DEEESK *

I used a whisk tonight instead of my stick blender - partly because I wanted to slow things down, partly because I was trying not to wake the little one. I was going really well. I decided to add the fragrance v e r y slowly to the oils. Was still going ok. Till I stopped stirring. You know that sound you make when you suck air in through pursed lips 'whooooooOP'. Well THAT's basically what happened to my mixture.

Runny.... runny.... runny... fragrance in ... runny... runny... runy... whoooooOP ... solid.

Now I have jello from hell sitting in my mold.

I am so sorry! I hate when batches don't turn out. What fragrance did you use (so that we know, and won't?).

Wow, you're certainly on a roll, Coolah!

What a bummer. I know it is disappointing to have batch after batch go wrong. I'm so sorry that the soap gremlins have been hanging out at your house for so long - I hope they move along soon! Which fragrance oil did you use?

I would say without a doubt it is the FO's that you are using. Bought some here in NZ that were supposed to be from a reputable firm and they were rubbish. Same thing happened to me. Now I use quality ones I don't have the same problem. Good luck for the future.

The scent was 'Reindeer Poo' - yeah, kinda fits huh. They're from Nature's Garden and I've noticed the whole line of the funky named ones are ricing on me. Monkey Farts, Reindeer Poo and I assume Elf Sweat will be the same.

Made Elf Sweat soap yesterday - no ricing!!

Monkey Farts - Said 'slight ricing' on the NG website, but I didn't read that until after.
Reindeer Poo - They hadn't tried in CP as there were no notes
Elf Sweat - A customer had left a review that it didn't rice, so I gave it a go.

Coolah, who provides your internet service?

They should also provide email, which should be acceptable to Scent Review Board.

I use Gmail as well, but am signed up on the Scent Review Board via my internet provider's email. I originally had my internet service through Qwest, and the email through those folks is name@q.com.

You probably really can sign up with them.
