Yeah, that's the hardest part for me. I've started putting them in another room in the hopes I kind of forget about them lol. Otherwise it's like watching paint dry ... and I keep touching!

Here's what was cut over the weekend.



Scent: Blood Orange + Litsea Cubeba + Cinnamon Leaf EOs
Colorants: Titanium Dioxide, Red Oxide, Yellow Oxide
Swirl/Pour: Layered the pale yellow on the bottom, then poured red and orange batters from a bit of a height and covered with the rest of the pale yellow

Added 1/2 tsp sea salt PPO to harden the bars and it seemed to work well for this recipe. Tested some leftover bits from cutting and it's a nice soap, but the recipe I've been working on still isn't quite right. I've already revised again and those batches are in their molds.



Scent: Eucalyptus + Lemon + Litsea Cubeba EOs
Colorants: Titanium Dioxide, Chromium Oxide Ultra Green, Yellow Oxide, Ultramarine Blue
Swirl/Pour: Spoon Swirl

Another spoon swirl, but at thinner trace. No salt in this batch and it is softer than the first one. I used more TD than I needed to in the base so the the colors ended up looking speckled. Blending the EOs and making the soap did wonders for my stuffy nose. I'll have to remember to make this soap again next cold season.

Coolah, I'm new to soaping too, so I'm learning too! I read forums and watch so many Youtube videos, and I'm grateful to those experts for sharing their expertise. It's nice to be able to pass info along when I can.

Giant olive, excellent job. You do have a photographers eye!

OK, I had to edit this because I just went back a few pages... OMG - I go to work for a weekend and there are tons of new soaps to look at.... I am having a hard time keeping up! All I can say is great job everyone and the world sure must be a cleaner place tonight!
