Oh cool. Bummer that our BB importer doesn't stock it.

Coolah - very nice colours there. The subtlety is fabulous, have you given a bar a test yet? How are they?

Beautiful swirly soap, Coolah! Is it a spoon swirl? Love the texture on top, too.

Love the sunflower and dahlia soaps, Linda! Lemongrass is one of my favorites. I like the lemon peel, too - such nice color and texture.

Here's an Orange Patchouli soap I made last week. It's scented with BB's Orange 10x and patchouli EOs at a 3:1 ratio. It smells sooo good!

This is kind of funny, I was about to make a post asking if anyone used dried lemon or orange peel in their soaps! Guess I get my answer!

Beautiful soaps ladies! Love your spoon swirl Coolah!

Edit: That's NOT a spoon swirl?! Whoa.. it soooo looks like one!

Coolah - Doh! Of course, they have only just been cut. I must have had a little brain fart there. How do you get the top textured, without a layer of ash forming? Alcohol spray?

LJM - Those soaps look rather intricate - how long were they left in the molds? And how easy were they to un-mold?

Coolah, Linda and jrose. LOVE the soaps!!

Coolah-love the design in the soap an the top. Got a question for you and/or anyone else that does those type of tops. Did/Do you insulate or put in fridge/freezer or CPOP? Do you cover it with saran(platic) wrap to help insulate? I didn't want to mess the top on my lavender soap and so I didn't put plastic wrap on it and put it in the freezer to force no gel. Took it out of freezer and out of the mold and it was still fairly soft. Soap was all the way to the top. The last soap I did the top on didn't come all the way to the top and so I was able to put plastic wrap on it without messing up the top and left it out and insulated it.

So guess what I am wanting to know is...Do you think it is ok just to leave it out without covering it?

Coolah you're lucky you don't get ash! The 2 batches I didn't spray with alcohol got thick ash layers :( The ones I did spray have no ash. :D Ash is my nemesis! :x

debsisson - I popped that particular soap into the fridge as I wanted to avoid gel to help keep the colours light. Regular CP process. No wrap. When I don't gel, I can't unmold for at least 48 hours normally, but this one came out of the mold beautifully after 12. I cut after about 36 hours.

I don't ever cover my soaps ...
