Didn't expect to see my name on this thread, lol! I did a video on making ombré layer style soap with pencil line because many people had asked me how I did it.

Hi Cat, I just love your video's. I had not seen this one before... and here I thought I had seen all that you tube had to offer. You do such a great job explaining things.

By the way, I did get that cheese slicer as a gift for Christmas.... each time I use it I am getting better with it. Have you ever broken a wire yet?

Thanks for sharing your technique, Cat! I like the pencil line look, too, but have never attempted it. Now that I've seen how you do it, I think I might be able to manage it! Great tip, too, about cutting the soap on its side so you don't disturb the pencil line. (Thank you for the tips on that, too, SeaShoreCrafts!) :)

I was just watching your videos yesterday, and look, here I find you on this forum today!!! They were really helpful. I had no idea what a spoon swirl was and finally got it after seeing your video. And I loved the ombre one too, I have been wondering how to do that pencil line. Thanks for your videos, for a newbie like me, they're super helpful!!!
