What is the difference between Patchouli essential and fragrance oil? I got a bottle of BB Patchouli but it doesn't tell if it is eo or fo. How can I tell what it is?

BB carries both Patchouli essential oil and Patchouli frangrance oil. Patchouli Essential oil is made from steam distillation from dried leaves, and the fragrance oil is synthetic.
If you have your BB invoice, it should tell you which it is. They are also listed in 2 different areas on the website.

One is made naturally. The other might have some essential oil in the mix, but it's made in a lab.

I personally didn't get it from Brambleberry. It was given to me and they didn't know which one it was. Are the labels a different color or something...just so I can tell without using it...or is there some other way?

BB samples are FO's not EO"s per the front office. Interesting unless you ask for samples they don't do it any more. My last 4 orders no samples.

Yeah I get free sample FO with my orders from AussieSoapSupplies who sell BB oils. I got one that smells like Jelly Beans this time! And since I do kids soaps, it will turn into a sale of more my next order. A very good idea from them!

Linda perhaps you are right. I should look closer, but 3 or 4 orders, I don't know. Perhaps.

How much Patchouli E.O. would you add for 3 pounds of goatsmilk CP. Would you need to add any of EO with it
