Teach Soap

It seems like no matter how little fragrance (such as chocolate, mint choco chip, vanilla, etc.) i put into a batch of soap they always turn brown and then sort of leak that brown color when used in the shower. I don't mind the brown color so much but is there any way to stop the leaking? Love the scents but hate the streaks in the shower and stains on the wash cloths......it makes me hesitate to use these in CP soaps....

Vanilla or any fragrance with over 2% vanillin content will turn brown and can stain. If there's any humidity where you are, the leaking could be from glycerin seeping out. Did you taste it?

No I did not taste it, the soap is a few months old, some even older and nice and dry. I don't think there is very much humidity here, at least it does not feel that way to me. It only happens when i use the soaps.
