Teach Soap

I've been looking everywhere for information on soap painting particulary on embeds. I want to use soap but have not come up with anything that works well. Any ideas or suggestions?

You can actually purchase ready to use soap paints. Not sure where you are, but google 'soap paints' as I purchased a set of 5 recently.

I think on Soap Queen blog there is a tutorial on making soap paints. Also PJ of PJ's soaps sells soap paints. I personally think PJ is the queen of soap painting. She also may have some instruction on this M&P thread. Her work is awesome.

I have never had an luck with making my own soap paint.

I do not know how to create a link to the blog but I can tell you it was posted on 12-5-08. Ann Marie was doing a segment on painted ornaments. I have made these paints and they work great.

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I used to do a lot of m&p and found that using surgical spirits mixed with mica, using a child's paintbrush & working fast would give a nice finish.
