I really want my batch to gel so it is on top of a radiator which is set at about a medium heat (just to keep the room from getting cold). My soap is in my plastic shoebox (around the same size as a "normal" shoebox you'd get shoes in) and is around 1 inch thick. How long should I leave it on there to be sure it is all gelled? And how often should I check on it? I just now checked it to make sure it wasn't overheating, its nice and toasty warm and the surface has become dull rather than glassy. Only issue I saw was that there is a little line of TD that isn't mixed as well, probably scraped it off the bottom when I used the spatula! Otherwise it LOOKS like its nice. But due to the colours I can't see if it is all gelled! Its a 4 colour swirl!

EDIT: This batch is "Girly" its a jasmine and bamboo scent with chamomile, colloidal oatmeal and silk. I also added 1 tsp of salt to my lye water to make the bars a little harder as it has castor oil in it and I want to see the difference between a bar with the salt and one without. Not sure if any of this affects gel or not
